Cell Phone and Distracted Driving Laws Changed In July of 2017…

These changes to Cell Phone and Distracted Driving Laws make it illegal to hold your personal electronic device while you drive. This is true even if you are stopped at a traffic light. Hands free is allowed or you may operate the device with a single touch.

The changes will make a these violations appear on your driving record as a moving violation. A moving violation will remain on your driving record for 3 years.

These charges are visible to your insurance company and may effect your insurance rates.

  They were very straight forward and easy to communicate with. I had a pending deferral speeding ticket which i did my community service hours for and did the 4 hour arive at 25 class to get dismissed. But while I was doing that, I got a second speeding ticket and I was worried it will void my deferred ticket. But they got it dismissed. Thank you very much.

  My son got his first speeding ticket. We called these guys and sent them a photo of the ticket. They took care of everything and got the ticket dismissed. Lucky kid. Hope he learned his lesson...

  Great firm to work with.  Took care of all the paperwork and trial appearance.  One phone call, a couple of emails and send in the ticket to the court.  Pay 200.00 fee. Merrill got the ticket dismissed. Definitely worth the cost! Highly recommend them.
